Faculty Endowment funded with Single Premium Life Insurance

"We have enjoyed a long and satisfying relationship with Schreiner. First, we were an employee family during an exciting time of change and growth. Now, we are part of a community that appreciates how Schreiner improves our region.

"It only made sense that we consider SU prominently as we made estate plans. We found we could increase the size of our eventual gift by using a single premium insurance policy. After both of our deaths, Schreiner will have a new endowment that will provide more annual funds for the faculty. We are grateful that we could do this."

Dr. Freeman served as Vice President for Academic Affairs (1986-1994) as Schreiner was maturing into a baccalaureate-level university and he continues to encourage Schreiner's progress. He and his gracious wife, Caroyln, have made a single premium irrevocable insurance gift that will continue helping Schreiner forever. They are enthusiastic visitors to campus, attending special events and demonstrating the joy of lifelong learning.
