Jim King became a member of the Schreiner Oaks Society when he gifted his mortgage-free home to SU through his will. It gives him peace of mind that his other heirs who live far away will not have to deal with selling property. While he could fund a named endowment, our Kerrville neighbor -who lives close to campus-prefers his eventual gift be used wherever it is most needed at the time.
